Therapy
Jo England
I am an experienced psychologist and psychotherapist who uses a gentle relational approach to help you come through challenging times.
The values that bring my service to life is the belief that our relationships with others shape who we are and who we become.
I share an opportunity with you to build a therapeutic relationship which aims to amplify a positive emotional connection. This sensitively shared sense of yourself can provide a healing opportunity and a way to build future connection with others.
As a psychologist I have been a full member of the Australian Psychological Society for 22 years supporting people who are referred by General Practitioners and Psychiatrists.
I also provide therapy for people seeking support outside a mental health diagnosis. In either situation I invite you into an interpersonal environment and skill set shared with my 25 years of evidence based mental health interventions, British Psychoanalytical Council accreditation for Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), and training with Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
